There is a Python algorithm that dumps AES info.

 nuwa.py ... -n10 -A1 -m DybEventMgr.aesmon somfile.root

It uses a hard-coded list of locations but I remember generating that
list from all default locations that existed at that time so it is
probably exhaustive.

For each execution cycle it prints the number of header objects in each
archive list location and the earliest time of the first and latest time
of the last object.

The DybEventMgr package is under DybSvc/.
