On this version of Ubuntu, the whole process went smoothly (for NuWa revisions after upgrade). The only thing you would need is to have all dependencies installed (Note that there is no need to install old g++-3.4 and g77 after the upgrade, ensure you have gfortran installed instead).

Make sure you have package "patch" installed. There should not be any need to modify tags in lcgcmt requirement file (NuWa-'revision'/lcgcmt/LCG_Settings/cmt/requirements) anymore, but you may want to check that there really are appropriate tags defined there. For example, if you are using 64 bit system, look for something like the following lines:

  • under "Daya Bay CMTCONFIG tags"
     tag x86_64-debian-gcc43-dbg target-x86_64 target-debian target-gcc43 target-linux target-unix target-dbg
     tag x86_64-debian-gcc43-opt target-x86_64 target-debian target-gcc43 target-linux target-unix target-opt
  • under "macro_LCG_basesystem"
     target-x86_64&target-debian&target-gcc43 "x86_64-debian-gcc43" \
