Setting the Environment

Note: root 6 is needed at present

  source /afs/rhic.bnl.gov/eic/restructured/etc/eic_cshrc.csh
  setenv EIC_LEVEL dev
  which root

Getting the source code

  git clone https://gitlab.com/eic/eic-smear.git

Preparing for build

  cd eic-smear/
  mkdir build
  cd build/

Build and Install

First one needs to define the install directory, assume that this has been done and there is an environment variable containing the path.

  cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=$INSTALL_DIR ..
  make -j 6
  make install
